	David R. Shook, supposedly from Glade, NC and into Marion Co.
	Illinois in 1854. Nothing on the net to exactly pinpoint him.
	Illinois land sales site is good for revealing the migration to
	Marion Co (Walnut Hill area)1823 to 1883.Thank you for all the

Comments:           I am 38 years old and was born in Longveiw TX. I have
	three children, and have had three wives. I have been estranged
	from Shook family since birth. There were special circumstances
	there. I wish to find my history and maybe fill in some missing
	links on my family tree. I have very little information 2 go on.
	What i do know is that I was conceived in Rosswell New Mexico in
	or about 1900, and 61. My fathers name was Melvin Carl Shook of
	San Antonio TX. His father was Melvin Shook of Tom Green county TX.
	I have a half brother and I think 3 half Shook sisters who 2 the
	best of my knowledge were not told about my birth. I have lived 38
	years knowing them I think now they may want to know us. I was told
	that the circumstances may hurt some so please do not make contact
	on my behalf, 4 this is a personal matter. Howeven if anyone has
	any information as to my origen we would be most gratful. p.s. my
	birth mother believes my father 2 be of dutch descent. Thank you,

Comments:           Came across this guest book when making inquiries about
	Shook's Prairie Cemetery which is located in Green Co. Wisconsin.
	It is also known as Fairview Cemetery. I am assuming that there may
	have been a Shook family that lived near there at one point and time.
	The Wisconsin State Historical Library has no records of this
	cemetery but know of it because of a Revolutionary War soldier by
	the name of Robert Bailey has a decorated grave there. I am directly
	descended from him.  If anyone knows of the history of Shook's
	Prairie Cemetery or Shook's Prairie, Wisconsin I would like to hear
	from you.
